Membrane-lipid complex (MLC) for skin and hair restoration Amisol Trio
Bio-lipid complex Amisol trio, consisting of phospholipids, glycolipids and phytosterols, effectively restores the damaged lipid barrier of the skin, and also has a protective effect in cleansing products containing surfactants. At the same time, Amisol trio is an indispensable conditioning component in hair care products, which restores hair along the entire length, gluing scales, removes brittleness and split ends of hair, and also reduces the effect of frizzy hair.
Component characteristics and features of use
INCI: Phospholipids, Glycine Soja (Soybean) Oil, Glycolipids, Glycine Soja (Soybean) Sterols
Appearance: amber liquid
Dosage (percentage of introduction into cosmetics): 0.5 - 1.5% (up to 4%). We indicate the recommended dosages for introduction, but the optimal dosage for your recipe must be selected independently depending on the full composition of the cosmetic product, as well as the presence of other active components in the recipes:
- in effective restorative masks for face and hair 1 - 1.5%
- in detergents and cleansers 0.5 - 1%
- in daily skin care products 0.5 -4%
- up to 4% in shaving and / or makeup removers.
Solubility: soluble in oil and dispersible in hot water with strong stirring, also allowed to dissolve in emulsion or surfactant
Use:
- Maintaining the acidity level of the finished product: the optimal pH for finished products with Amisol Trio varies within the range of 5.0 - 8.0. At pH below 5.0, there is a risk of hydrolysis of phospholipids. At pH above 8.0, a sharp unpleasant odor may appear.
- It is recommended to add chelators to prevent oxidation of phospholipids
- To introduce Amisol Trio into emulsions: add the component to the hot fatty phase (65-80 °C) before emulsification. It is recommended to add the fatty phase to the aqueous one.
- To introduce Amisol Trio through the water phase, hydration is necessary: add the active ingredient to the hot water phase (65-80°C), cover the glass (for example, with foil) and keep it in a water bath for about 20 minutes with constant light stirring. As a result, you should get a homogeneous whitish liquid with possible formation of white lumps). It is recommended to add the oily phase to the water phase.

- To introduce it into detergents, it is recommended to add Amisol Trio to the surfactant, then add this mixture to hot water and carry out the hydration process until the component is completely dissolved. The result will be an opaque liquid.
- Consider the fact that a large amount of Amisol Trio in the recipes can "grease" the hair, that is, 1.5% in a rinse-off shampoo will not give the best effect. But 0.5% in hair conditioner is very good. 1-1.5% is best added to restorative masks, which are then washed off with shampoo.
Storage: It is recommended to store in a dark, dry, cool place, protect from direct sunlight and overheating.
Benefits of using Amisol trio in cosmetics
Amisol trio is a phospholipid complex that has the following beneficial properties:
- super nourishing effect due to essential biolipids: phospholipids, glycolipids, phytosterols, vitamin F (linoleic acid);
- film-forming effect: Amisol Trio is attracted to the surface of the hair and skin and leaves a pleasant feeling of softness;
- clouding effect: allows you to create creamy foaming products;
- completely harmless to the skin and an environmentally friendly product.
Use in skin cosmetics
Amisol Trio plays an active role in restoring the barrier function of the skin, which is damaged by surface-active substances. After using cosmetics with a membrane-lipid complex, you get a pleasant feeling of nourished, but at the same time completely non-greasy skin. Amisol Trio is included in all formulations for the creation of DMS cosmetics.
A study of the protective properties of Amisol Trio for the skin
20 volunteers used a cleansing formula with 2% Amisol Trio, after which TEWL and sebum measurements were taken on the face 2 hours after application and 7 days after two days of use. Based on the self-assessment results, the following conclusions were obtained:
- when using a placebo (i.e. a product without 2% Amisol Trio), too much sebum is removed, the skin becomes tight and a feeling of discomfort arises. Amisol Trio maintains skin balance, maintaining sebum levels and leaving behind a nourished effect

- while placebo has no significant effect, the cleansing formula with Amisol Trio enhances the skin barrier function and reduces TEWL, which leads to an anti-dehydration effect

- according to the survey results, 100% of volunteers responded that they felt a sense of comfort. 95% noted that the skin felt moisturized, and 90% said that they did not feel any tightness of the skin and only a soft effect remained.
Use in hair cosmetics
10 volunteers who washed their hair with a classic shampoo used 2 conditioners (medicinal with Amisol trio and placebo) simultaneously on different halves of the hair. The hair was washed and dried naturally. As a result, the effect of the hair conditioner was obtained, which:
- made the cuticle scales less noticeable, and the hair after use is restored along the entire length
- split ends disappear, and the amount of frizzy hair decreases

- the appearance of the hair is significantly improved: brightness and shine appear, the hair becomes soft, but the volume of hair does not decrease as much

As for the positive effect on the scalp, the results are also excellent:
- the scalp is moisturized and soothed
- the anti-irritant properties of phospholipids relieve scalp itching
- strengthening the skin's barrier function due to nourishment and moisturizing of the scalp
- prevention of sebum drying from excessive washing.
In what recipes can Amisol trio be used
The membrane-lipid complex is a universal component for a wide range of cosmetics:
- Shampoos
- Hair conditioners and balms
- Restorative hair masks
- Leave-in hair creams
- Shower gels
- Any skin care products
- Other cleansing products.
