Brown iron oxide pigment is a highly purified inorganic pigment used for the production of soaps and cosmetics. INCI: Iron oxide CI 77499, CI 77491, CI 77492. 

Chemical formula: Fe2O3.nH2O, Fe2O3, FeOFe2O3.

Dosage (percentage of input): up to 100%, but please see below for manufacturer's recommendations:

• Facial makeup 0.1-10%
• Eye makeup 0.1 - 30%
• Soap 0.1 - 2%
• Skin care cosmetics 0.1-2%
• Lipstick/blush 0.1-10%
• Toothpaste/tooth care products 0.1-2%
• Nail polish 0.1 - 10%
• Solubility: insoluble in water and oil, dispersed in base or mixed with dry ingredients.

Storage: in a dark, cool, dry place.
