INCI: Charcoal powder 

Appearance: black fine powder

Dosage (percentage of use in cosmetics): 0.1 - 3% in care cosmetics, up to 50% in decorative cosmetics.

Solubility: insoluble in oil and water. Dispersed in the base or mixed with other dry ingredients. For a more even distribution of the charcoal in the base (e.g. soap), the powder can be pre-dispersed in glycerin or oil.

Storage: It is recommended to store in a dark, dry place at temperatures up to +25°C. Protect from direct sunlight and moisture. 

What is plant activated carbon?

Attention: activated charcoal has strong coloring properties, so it is recommended not to start the first use with the maximum dosage, but lower and gradually increase if desired.
