Composition: flavonoids, tannins, coumarin, terpenes, PUFAs, carotenoids, vitamins (A, C), trace elements (manganese, potassium, magnesium, iron, calcium, copper, zinc, aluminum, sulfur, nickel, boron).
Special instructions: for external use only
Dosage: 0.2 - 0.5% (0.6 - 2% in therapeutic agents is allowed)

Benefits of CO2 extract in cosmetology
Flavonoids, included in the composition of the CO2 extract of Ceres, regulate metabolism, stimulate a number of enzymes, thereby showing a soothing effect on the skin, reducing irritation. Complex of natural vitamins (carotene, vitamin C, tocopherols), contribute to the stimulation of wound healing, including burn lesions of the skin. Phytocomplex substances of succession has a pronounced anti-allergic effect, the mechanism of which is not fully established. This property causes the wide use of preparations of succession in children's cosmetics.
Supercritical CO2-extract of succession grass, containing a significant amount of carotene (not extracted by aqueous extraction), have anti-inflammatory and wound-healing properties. Tannins extract have pronounced bactericidal properties. Extract of succession used to prepare therapeutic baths for children, mainly for various diathesis, accompanied by urtikarnoy rash, skrofulazom, milk scab. Cheroya used in metabolic disorders, including scrofula, rickets, diabetes, osteochondrosis, as well as rheumatism, sciatica, gout, bronchitis, poor digestion, traumatic swelling, bone fractures, concussion. In skin diseases (eczema, wounds, ulcers, pimples) and seborrhea of the head are shown washing with an extract of succession to soften the skin and remove blackheads.
Use in home cosmetics
For creams:
- In the treatment of oily and dry seborrhea, and in products for the care of oily and problem skin.
- An indispensable ingredient in children's cosmetics as a natural antibacterial, emollient and anti-irritant.
For shampoos:
- recommended for the care of oily hair as an active antimicrobial agent that regulates the secretion of sebum.
- Effective in the treatment of seborrhea of the scalp, accompanied by excessive greasiness of the hair, as well as dry seborrhea, as an ingredient that prevents flaking of the skin.
- Effective in anti-dandruff shampoos as an emollient and soothing ingredient.
Recommendations for home use
- for the preparation of oil mixtures CO2 extract is added to the base vegetable oil in the standard dosage of 0.2 - 0.5% or 0.2-0.5 g per 100 g of oil, then thoroughly stirred until dissolved;
- in recipes for handmade cosmetics CO2 extracts are introduced at the final stage of preparation together with other active ingredients at a temperature of 35-45 °C. In creams, the extract can be introduced into the warm emulsion before the active phase is introduced.
- CO2-extracts can be added to already prepared cosmetic creams to enhance the effectiveness of their action with strict observance of the dosage.
