Complex of extracts for age skin care

The complex of CO2 extracts includes extracts of cinnamon, sea buckthorn, amaranth and linden. This blend is effective for fighting signs of skin aging: wrinkles, loss of firmness and elasticity.

Characteristics of the component and features of use

Composition of the complex: cinnamon (bark), sea buckthorn (fruit), amaranth (grain) linden (color).

Appearance: thick dark green oily liquid

Production method: supercritical fluid extraction with natural carbon dioxide, in the absence of inorganic salts, without residual solvent, heavy metals, reproducible microorganisms.

Description: oily mass of green-brown color with possible waxy inclusions.

Dosage: 0.2 - 0.5 %. Up to 2% in therapeutic agents.

Storage: in a dark, cool place in a tightly closed container.

Properties when added to cosmetics

Complex of extracts for mature skin has an excellent nourishing and healing effect, quickly and effectively eliminates inflammation and redness, soothes and moisturizes the skin. Sea buckthorn extract has anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antiseptic, wound-healing, regenerating effect, prevents wrinkles, increases skin elasticity and firmness. Its biochemical properties are close to the properties of the skin, so it is able to penetrate deep into the structural layers, actively transfers and releases healing substances, nourishes and softens the skin, while the respiration of skin cells is not disturbed, and pores and glands are not clogged. Amaranth extract has a softening, moisturizing, nourishing effect on the skin, promotes the transfer of nutrients to deeper layers of the skin. Lime extract has a soothing, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial effect. Increases elasticity, strengthens skin tissues, makes the skin more receptive to the active ingredients of creams, improves complexion, smooths wrinkles, eliminates puffiness of the eyelids and bags under the eyes, accelerates the healing of wounds and small cracks in the skin.

The advantages of CO2 extracts in Ukraine are related to the technology of their manufacture. Using carbon dioxide, resins, essential oils, pigments and other active substances are extracted from plants. At the same time, after the extraction process is completed, carbon dioxide evaporates and a mixture of pure substances without solvent impurities remains. The extraction process takes place at low temperatures, and all useful substances are preserved in their original form, in addition, CO2-extracts do not require additional preservation, because, firstly, rich in antioxidants, and secondly, carbon dioxide destroys all microorganisms. • for the preparation of oil blends CO2 extract is added to the base vegetable oil in the standard dosage of 0.2 - 0.5% or 0.2-0.5 g per 100 g of oil, then thoroughly stirred until dissolved;
• in recipes for handmade cosmetics CO2 extracts are introduced at the final stage of preparation together with other active ingredients at a temperature of 35-45 °C. In creams, the extract can be introduced into the warm emulsion before the active phase is introduced.
• CO2-extracts can be added to already prepared cosmetic creams to enhance the effectiveness of their action with strict adherence to the dosage.
