Benefits of CO2 extract in cosmetology

Calendula CO2 extract is used to improve the protective properties of the skin, reduce the effect of external chemical or mechanical irritants on it, as an anti-inflammatory and skin smoothing component; improves skin regeneration processes; strengthens skin capillaries, restores the skin, increases the strength of capillaries. 

Recommended for the treatment of wounds, purulent inflammation, skin rashes, cracking nipples in nursing mothers. Prevents the formation of scars during wound healing. Regulates the release of skin fat, absorbs its excess, narrows pores. Revitalizes and heals dry, sensitive, damaged and irritated skin. Often used in products for the delicate care of children's skin.

Promotes the disappearance of couperosis and varicose veins.

In hair care CO2 extract of calendula has an anti-inflammatory effect, strengthens the hair along the entire length, regulates the release of sebum, which is effective in shampoos for oily hair.

Recommendations for use at home

• for preparation of oil mixtures CO2 extract is added to the base vegetable oil in the standard dosage of 0,2 - 0,5% or 0,2-0,5 g per 100 g of oil, then stir thoroughly until dissolved;
• in recipes for handmade cosmetics CO2 extracts are introduced at the final stage of preparation together with other active ingredients at a temperature of 35-45 °C. In creams, the extract can be introduced into the warm emulsion before the active phase is introduced.
• CO2-extracts can be added to already prepared cosmetic creams to enhance the effectiveness of their action with strict observance of the dosage.
