Composition: Terpenoids (α, β-farnesene, cubenes, lepidosenes, sesquiphellandrene, spathulenol, bisabolol, hamazulene), fatty acids (meristinic acid, oleic acid, palmitic acid, tinoleinova, stearic, eicosanova), tocopherols, phytosterols (campesterol, amurin, sitosterol, stigmasterol, moretinol, taraxasterol).
Special instructions: for external use only
Dosage: 0.2 - 0.5% (0.6 - 2% in therapeutic agents is allowed).
Solubility: in oil at 35-45 °C. Full recommendations for use read below.
Storage: in a dry dark place in a tightly closed package at a temperature up to 25˚C.
Application of CO2 extract in cosmetology
Chamomile CO2 extract has anti-inflammatory, wound healing, antibacterial, antispasmodic, soothing effect. The photoprotective efficiency of chamomile extracts is known. In cosmetics, it is used in children's products (soaps, creams, lotions), toothpastes, face and hand creams, lipsticks, tanning products, oils for body skin care, shampoos and rinses. Infusion of chamomile has a slight coloring effect on blonde hair, giving them a golden hue. Skin under the influence of chamomile decoction becomes especially soft and velvety.
In oral hygiene products extract has an antiseptic effect, relieves bleeding gums, having a strengthening effect on the walls of blood vessels. Promotes healing of small lesions of the oral mucosa. Protects against periodontal disease, gingivitis, stomatitis and dental caries. The extract is added at the end of the technological process simultaneously with the addition of perfume oil, dye, fragrance. The finished toothpaste mass is stirred for another 5-10 minutes and fed for packing. In another method of production is recommended to add to the kneading machine after pumping there water-glycerin solution, simultaneously with the addition of chalk, with a constantly running stirrer.
For creams Chamomile extract is used as a soothing and anti-allergenic component, provides a nourishing effect of the cream for any skin of the face and neck. The extract is added at the end of the technological process simultaneously with the addition of perfume oil, fragrance.
In hair care CO2 extract of Chamomile provides toning and softening effect. Soothes dry scalp, reducing the appearance of dandruff.

Recommendations for use at home
- for the preparation of oil mixtures CO2 extract is added to the base vegetable oil in the standard dosage of 0.2 - 0.5% or 0.2-0.5 g per 100 g of oil, then stir thoroughly until dissolved;
- in recipes for handmade cosmetics CO2 extracts are introduced at the final stage of preparation together with other active ingredients at a temperature of 35-45 °C. In creams, the extract can be introduced into the warm emulsion before the active phase is introduced.
- CO2-extracts can be added to already prepared cosmetic creams to enhance the effectiveness of their action with strict adherence to the dosage.
