Ginkgo biloba is a tree, sometimes reaching 30 meters in height and 3 meters in diameter, a “living fossil” from South-East China, since it appeared on Earth about 200,000,000 years ago. • for preparation of oil mixtures CO2 extract is added to the base vegetable oil in the standard dosage of 0,2 - 0,5% or 0,2-0,5 g per 100 g of oil, then thoroughly stirred until dissolved;
• in recipes for handmade cosmetics CO2 extracts are introduced at the final stage of preparation together with other active ingredients at a temperature of 35-45 °C. In creams, the extract can be introduced into the warm emulsion before the active phase is introduced.
