Application of CO2-extract in cosmetology

CO2-extract of wheat germ is an ecologically pure, effective and natural remedy for face and body skin care, especially for dry and fading skin. It refreshes the complexion, has a regenerating, smoothing and antioxidant effect, has natural sun-protective properties, promotes skin healing after burns and inflammation, helps to reduce birth stretch marks, scars, strengthens capillary walls, stimulates muscle activity, has a pronounced antisclerotic and antitoxic effect.

Wheat germ extract in the soap has an antiseptic effect and helps prevent inflammation, protects the lipid layer of the skin, relieves fatigue and tension. The skin becomes smooth and elastic. The extract is added to the finished soap shavings together with fragrance and colorants.

Wheat germ in cosmetics is used to enhance the vitaminizing effect, provide nourishing effect of the cream for any skin of the face and neck, reduce skin astheotosis, which contributes to the smoothing of wrinkles, provide oxidative and microbiological stability of the cream, allowing to extend the shelf life of products. Indispensable in the care of dry and fading skin due to the natural antioxidants and tocopherols contained in the extract. 

CO2-extract of wheat germ in hair care provides renewal and rejuvenation of skin cells, moisturizes hair, gives it elasticity, smoothness and shine. Wheat proteins have a beneficial effect on the condition of hair and scalp. 
 

Recommendations for use at home

• for preparation of oil mixtures CO2-extract is added to the base vegetable oil in the standard dosage of 0.2-0.5% or 0.2-0.5 g per 100 g of oil, then stir thoroughly until completely dissolved;
• in recipes of handmade cosmetics CO2 extracts are introduced at the final stage of preparation together with other active ingredients at a temperature of 35-45 °C. In creams, the extract can be introduced into the warm emulsion before the active phase is introduced.
• CO2-extracts can be added to already prepared cosmetic creams to enhance the effectiveness of their action with strict adherence to the dosage.
