Crotein cashmere is an amino acid complex obtained by hydrolysis of keratin fibers of cashmere wool. This ingredient is associated with luxury hair, skin and nail care. Amino acids are hygroscopic and have moisture-binding properties. Due to their low molecular weight, they are able to penetrate the hair cuticle, preventing brittleness and split ends. This component is suitable for use in rinse-off and leave-on cosmetics for hair, skin and nails.

Why amino acids (hydrolysates) are used in cosmetics

Everyone knows that proteins and their derivatives (hydrolysates, proteins) have high moisture-retaining properties. Amino acids exhibit maximum moisture-binding properties due to the rupture of peptide bonds, resulting in the formation of additional hydrophilic carboxyl and amino groups. Evaluation of the accumulation and depth of penetration of Crotein cashmere into the hair fiber

The unique ability of Crotein cashmere to penetrate the hair and its further accumulation was established in the laboratory. Tested cosmetics: shampoo and conditioner. Content of Crotein cashmere = 1%. As a result, measurements were made for three parameters: total accumulation in the hair, surface accumulation and depth of penetration into the hair. Below you can see a graphical representation of the overall accumulation and penetration of keratin hydrolysate in the hair.

The results of the experiments clearly demonstrated the effect of Crotein cashmere on uncolored brown hair after repeated use of shampoo and conditioner with an active ingredient content of 1%. The results of the studies also showed that the effectiveness increased after three procedures, and after 5 procedures began to gradually decrease. This indicates that the product does not accumulate on the hair.
