Cetiol RLF - soft emollient for sensitive skin with high spreadability

Natural emollient, first produced by BASF using an enzymatic process from 100% natural, fully renewable raw materials. Cetiol RLF is a fully transparent, volatile emollient with excellent emollient properties.

Component characteristics and usage

INCI: Caprylyl-Caprylate/Caprate

Analogues: if this emollient is not available, you can replace it with other emollients with high spreadability, such as Gosulin IL or Plantasens Olive LD.

Spreadability: 1400 mm2/10 min

Dosage (percentage of input into cosmetics): 2-15 %

Solubility: in oil

Use: add to the fatty phase of a cream or mix with other fat-soluble components. Heating is permitted.

Storage: in a cool place. Keep the container dry.

Cosmetic properties of the emollient in formulas

Cetiol RLF is a very light emollient that leaves behind a pleasant feeling of softness and comfort. Its natural origin and eco-certification allows the component to be used in natural, organic and children's cosmetics.

Dermatological testing has shown perfect tolerance of cosmetics with this emollient by sensitive skin. Panel subjective evaluation of SC-DE /10/127/16 on 20 volunteers with impaired skin protective function (application on the face twice a day for 28 days).
