Ercamulse emulsion wax as an analog of Polawax NF

Ercamulse NF is a self-emulsifying base for the preparation of cosmetic and pharmaceutical emulsions of the oil-in-water type, as well as for the recipes of natural hydrophilic body tiles.


Characteristics of the component and specifics of use

INCI: Cetearyl Alcohol, Polysorbate 60

Type: neonogenic

Appearance: light cream-colored flakes

Dosage (percentage of input into cosmetics):

  • 3-5 % to create lotions
  • 5-10 for creams
  • Up to 20% in hydrophilic tiles

Solubility: in oil at 48-52 °C

Use: add to the fatty phase of a cosmetic and melt in a water bath. To prepare hydrophilic tiles, add the emulsifier together with cocoa butter and/or wax and melt in a water bath.

Storage: long-term storage is recommended in a dark, dry place at temperatures up to +25 °C. Protect from direct sunlight and moisture. Temporary transportation at a different temperature is permitted.


Use in cosmetics

Ercamuls NF is a self-emulsifying base based on natural raw materials, used for the manufacture of M/W emulsions. Emulsion wax can be used for a wide range of cosmetic products such as creams and moisturizing lotions, hair products (conditioners, conditioners), creams, hydrophilic tiles, lip balms, etc.

  • is a thickener and viscosity stabilizer of oil-in-water system
  • acts as a co-emulsifier (prevents separation of components)
  • softens the skin
  • tightens pores
  • non-irritating
  • makes the skin velvety and silky smooth
  • improves the consistency of waterless products such as lipsticks, body scrubs
  • improves hair texture, facilitates combing (recommended to combine with cationic emulsifiers BTMS, Conditioner emulsifier, Dehyquart)
  • makes the oil hydrophilic, i.e. water-soluble.
