Useful cosmetic properties for hair HMA (Hair Micro Adhesive) Silky is a hair micro-adhesive which, thanks to a special production technology (coacervation), shows higher performance when applied to the hair. Thanks to its cationic nature and coacervation technology, the active adheres to the hair surface and remains on it, thus ensuring high efficiency and prolonged action. The product contains ceramides, which restore the integrity of the hair and have a strong hydrating effect. As a result, the overall condition of the hair is improved throughout its length. Vitamin F strengthens and nourishes the hair, while vitamin P, present in the form of hamamelis extract, has a protective effect against UV rays. Polyquaternium-68 and Behentrimonium Chloride are used in the active to provide conditioning effect and ease of combing, while Phenyltrimethicone is used to give hair exceptional shine and smoothness. Benefits of use The Hair Micro Adhesive (HMA) range includes three types of assets: HMA-UV Shell, which consists of the protective asset Parsol MCX, green tea and vitamin E HMA-Conditioner, which contains silicone DC 200 and polyquaternium HMA-Silky, whose composition we have already written about above. It is HMA-Silky that you can buy in the Beurre shop, but the charts below show the effectiveness of each asset in the HMA series. When testing the permeability of the actives into the hair, as well as for adding shine to the hair, the HMA-Conditioner was the most effective, with the HMA-Silky actives coming in second. However, all three ingredients showed high efficacy compared to placebo. The test was conducted using shampoo with an actives concentration of 1%. HMA-Silky showed significant results in giving hair strength and tensile strength as well as strong hydration. From the above research we can conclude that it is HMA-Silky that is the most versatile ingredient that provides hydration, enhances hair strength, adds shine and makes it easier to comb. From the above graph, we can easily see how much more effective HMA technology works compared to the same active ingredient but not encapsulated in a lysosome. The olive colour in the graph shows the effectiveness of HMA Silky, while the yellow colour shows the effectiveness of the free active ingredient. Why you should add HMA Silky to your recipe deeply moisturises hair, making it smoother and silkier, increases hair shine, has a prolonged effect on hair, prevents hair splitting and breakage, increases hair strength, has a protective effect against external damage (hair dryer, combing, UV radiation).
