Pure and eco-friendly Hyaluronic Acid for your skin
HySilk is a new, advanced form of low molecular weight hyaluronic acid. It demonstrates maximum skin penetration and moisture retention. It is produced in the Czech Republic and certified by Ecocert, i.e. this type of hyaluronic acid can be used to create organic and Vegan cosmetics.
Characteristics of the component and features of use
INCI: Sodium Hyaluronate
Molecular weight: 250 - 450 kDa
Dosage: 0,01 - 0,25%
Use: dissolve in water or active phase of cosmetic product. When added to water it forms a light gel. Do not heat above 40 °C.
Storage: in a dark, dry place at room temperature. Keep out of direct sunlight.
How HySilk Acid HySilk is produced by fermentation
Hyaluronic acid with a standard molecular weight is used as the starting material, which is separated by a controlled combination of different physical methods to the desired molecular weight. Because a combination of biotechnological and physical methods are used to produce HySilk, the product is free of impurities such as glycosaminoglycans and animal proteins. No GMO products are used in the manufacturing process. The use of hyaluronic acid in HySilk natural cosmetics shows increased biological activity and a minimum tendency to film formation compared to standard hyaluronic acids. Hyaluronic acid is the ultimate skin moisturiser. However, conventional hyaluronic acid, although an excellent long-acting moisturiser, does not penetrate deep enough into the skin. Hyaluron's ability to absorb water is directly proportional to its molecular weight. The lower the mass, the greater the absorption. Studies show that HySilk has no equal in its ability to retain moisture and penetrate deep into the skin.
How to Use Hyaluronic Acid in folrmulas
The recommended input dosage of HySilk ranges from 0.01% to 0.25%. This dosage provides excellent value for money for this ingredient as it is consumed very slowly. To dissolve HySilk you will need to take a small amount of water, add the powder to it, stir and leave it for a while to dissolve completely. HySilk can also be dissolved in a mixture of ethyl and isopropyl alcohol and water or in a mixture of propylene glycol and butylene glycol and water (1: 1). Depending on the cosmetic you are preparing, the input dosage can be within the following limits: Daily care - 0.01 - 0.25% Night and intensive care products - 0.02 - 0.25% After sunbathing products - 0.02 - 0.25% Decorative cosmetics - 0.01 - 0.05% Before-after shaving - 0.01 - 0.05%
The effectiveness of introducing low molecular weight hyaluronic acid
It is scientifically dosed that high molecular weight hyaluronic acid will not be able to penetrate the epidermis and will have an external moisturising effect. Whereas anything below 500 kDa will penetrate the dermis and even subcutaneous fatty tissue. The lower the molecular weight, the deeper the HA can penetrate the skin.
HySilk has a double action:
- It penetrates through the stratum corneum (stratum corneum) together with the hydrate shell - it delivers water to the inner layers of the stratum corneum and epidermis. It interacts with epidermis and dermis cells through receptors (CD 44, RHAMM, TLR-4), which are located on the outer side of the cell membrane and influence, through a chain of different intracellular enzymes and proteins, the gene transcription regulatory apparatus in the nucleus.
- After interacting with the receptor, HySilk is able to enhance or inhibit the expression of various genes. HySilk is able to penetrate the skin, causing excessive moisturisation of the superficial layers of the skin and thus opening the skin channels. Because of this, other molecules physically or chemically related to HySilk can also penetrate the skin.
- This unique feature designates HySilk for use as a specialised delivery system. Advantages of HySilk compared to other hyaluronic acid analogues: Maximum deep moisturisation UV protection Strengthening of the skin barrier An excellent transport system for other active ingredients Studies on the effect of HySilk on the skin when introduced into cosmetics
