Inulin as the best conditioning component in cosmetics

Inulin from the Dutch company Gobiotics (which is produced at the partner plant CreaChem) is an effective natural alternative to synthetic conditioning additives in cosmetics. In cosmetic formulations, it is found under the trade name Inutec H25P and has a film-forming effect, promotes the formation of smooth and lush foam, and is also able to retain the aroma of finished cosmetics.

Beneficial cosmetic properties of Inulin

Plant inulin is a highly purified crystalline component - a natural polysaccharide, linear polyfructosan with a structure of the type G-F... F, where G = glucose and F = fructose. Inulin is extracted from chicory root (Cichorium Intybus) by extraction in hot water and subsequent enzymatic and mechanical purification.

Inulin has a film-forming property, forms a smooth and light film with a pleasant feeling on the surface of the skin and hair, which is especially important in rinse-off formulas.

Inutec H25P softens liquid detergents that gently cleanse the skin, as a result of which they leave it soft and moisturized.
