Production of jasmine wax
Jasmine wax is a by-product of the production of nodules and absolutes. The nodule, from which the absolute is then extracted, is composed of plant waxes that remain after the extraction of the absolute. Jasmine nodule waxes contain C21-C36 hydrocarbons (mainly C29 and C31) and free fatty acids. Jasmine wax can replace carnauba wax in the preparation of enriched cleansing creams. An essential oil can be extracted from the wax, which is quite suitable for use as an odor fixative for soap perfumes.

Uses
Fragrant floral waxes are a great way to add floral scents to cold process soaps, scented candles, solid perfumes and more. Floral waxes are the perfect addition to create luscious lip balms, exotic solid perfumes and fabulous creams and ointments. When melting floral waxes, it is recommended to use steamers or microwaves at a very low temperature. It is not recommended to place the wax in a pot over an open flame as this can cause the wax to char.
for use in a solid perfume or lip balm, it is recommended to melt the required amount of floral wax and add a small amount of jojoba (or other oil of choice) and mix well. Pour into containers.
- For creams and lotions - add to the fatty phase of the recipe.
- Floral waxes are great for adding to soaps when cold process. They add fragrance and hardness to the bar of soap.
- Can be used in an aroma lamp or burned on coals or a candle to scent the air.
