Lanol P is a thickener and emulsion stabiliser for natural cosmetics

An universal component that should be in every cream maker's kit. Lanol P allows to create thick emulsions, working together with emulsifiers. Acting as a fatty alcohol, it thickens emulsions but does not leave a greasy feeling on the skin and does not clog pores. With the help of this component you will create thick, but at the same time light and quickly absorbed emulsions.

Solubility: in oil

Use: dissolve in oil at a temperature of about 60 C.

Lanol P cream Lanol P is an entirely vegetable component of French origin, based on palm oil. It is compatible with most of the emulsifiers available in the Beurre online shop.

So, working with the well-known emulsifiers Planta M or say Montanov 202, you can not get a thick emulsion. These emulsifiers either give liquid lotions or require special thickeners. This is why it is essential to include structuring agents in the formulation of such creams, such as Lanol P. It serves to thicken, stabilise and improve the tactile properties of emulsions. In recipes it is recommended to include from 2% and higher, depending on the degree of thickness of the cream you want to obtain.

Lanop P is very different from the usual inexpensive thickeners which, although they give a dense emulsion, can clog pores or leave it feeling greasy. While Lanol P has the unique property of creating cosmetics with a high degree of absorption, even with a large oil phase of the cream.

Features of introduction into detergents

Another important feature of Lanol P application in flushable cosmetics is its property to thicken detergents. The introduction of 3% or more not only thickens shampoo (gel, liquid soap), but also leaves a pearly pearlescent lustre. The active is able to reduce the irritating effect of surfactants, and after using products with the component you are left with a pleasant feeling of softness.
