Merck's Xirona series red mica is filled with hints of copper and crimson. Mika's rich color changes to orange-red depending on the viewing angle. Xirona Le Rouge is a truly unique, very long-lasting and rich shade of red that does not fade. The deep color is ideally compatible with all types of formulations, whether water, oil or solvent based. And adding a small amount of myca (from 0.1%) allows you to get delicate pink shades.

The composition consists of silica flakes enveloped in layers of silicon dioxide and iron oxide. The distribution of pigment particles in sizes from 5 to 50 microns creates a seductive shimmer of garnet hue. By using this color, you provide yourself with a range of fantastic chromatic effects with a metallic sheen, attractive textures and excellent adhesion to the skin.
