The healing properties of milk thistle oil
Among the variety of useful macro- and microelements contained in the composition of milk thistle oil is worth highlighting, perhaps silymarin. Silymarin is a flavonolignan and is the sum of four isomers, the main and most active of which is silibinin (60-70%). It is a biologically active substance that helps in the process of regeneration and repair of liver cells. The uniqueness of the benefits of milk thistle oil is the ability of the product to restore liver cells damaged by cirrhosis, even at advanced stages. Regular consumption of milk thistle oil helps to detoxify the liver, and also helps to eliminate inflammation and protect against the emergence and development of infections or pathogens.
Milk thistle oil is an excellent remedy for strengthening immunity, cleansing the body of toxins and other harmful chemical compounds that accumulate in the process of human activity. Thistle oil is used not only as a useful vegetable oil, but also as a component of many cosmetics.
Cosmetic properties of milk thistle oil
Thistle oil has a valuable complex of biologically active substances and macro and microelements such as calcium, potassium, magnesium, copper, selenium, boron, iron, etc. Thistle oil contains a large percentage of unsaturated fatty acids and fat-soluble vitamins. Among them are vitamin A, responsible for skin elasticity and moisturizing, vitamin E, which has a rejuvenating effect, and vitamin K, which is effective in the fight against couperosis and various skin inflammations.
Of course, vitamin F (unsaturated fatty acids), which is responsible for the regeneration of skin cells and stabilizes the sebaceous glands. It is thanks to vitamin F that milk thistle oil helps to cleanse the skin from rashes and prevent pore enlargement.
Regular use of milk thistle oil for the face will help to achieve significant results in improving the condition of the skin, and prolong its youth and beauty for a long time.
Most often thistle oil in cosmetology is used to care for problem skin, as it has a good anti-inflammatory, wound-healing and regenerating effect.
Thistle oil is especially effective in allergic skin reactions, acne, vitiligo, burns, as well as in the treatment of many skin diseases (flat lichen, dermatitis, psoriasis, eczema).
In principle, milk thistle oil can be used for any type of facial skin, as it is completely harmless and contributes to additional vitaminization, nutrition, moisturizing and rejuvenation of the skin. Thistle oil also helps to improve the complexion, increase the protective functions, firmness and elasticity of the skin, accelerate blood microcirculation in the skin, and even smooth out shallow wrinkles on the face.
In addition, milk thistle oil helps to protect the skin from weathered skin, frostbite and exposure to harmful UV rays.
