Neocare P3R is a transparent yellow-orange viscous liquid. It is a natural, very soft emulsifier obtained from castor oil and glycerin. In addition, it is also multifunctional. In addition to the usual function of creating an emulsion, Neocare acts as an ingredient that significantly enhances skin hydration, it maintains and restores the skin's protective barrier without any additional actives. In addition, Neocare is able to enhance the action of other active ingredients. It is a safe emulsifier that does not cause irritation or allergies.

This emulsifier is no longer expected to be available for sale. You can replace it in formulas with other reverse emulsifiers, such as Olivem 2090 or Ecomulse 2 in 1.

How to make an emulsion on Neocare P3R

Neocare emulsifier can be used in a mono-variant, it creates good stable reverse emulsions without co-emulsifiers. A cream recipe with Neocare P3R can include from 3 to 5% emulsifier.

IMPORTANT: For a stable emulsion, it is necessary to introduce 3-5% glycerin and 0.75-1% table salt into the composition of the product.
 

To make a cold emulsion on Neocare P3R

• you need to mix the emulsifier with the oil phase and fat-soluble components,
• add water-soluble actives, glycerin and salt to the aqueous phase.
• then you need to slowly add the aqueous phase to the fatty phase with constant gentle stirring,
• mix for 1-2 minutes with a mini-mixer
• continue mixing manually for 30-60 minutes.
   

To make a hot emulsion on Neocare P3R

• Mix the emulsifier with oils, emollients and fat-soluble components that can be heated
• Mix water, glycerin, table salt, add water-soluble components that can be heated
• Heat both phases in a water bath to a temperature of 75-80 °C
• Slowly, with manual stirring, add the aqueous phase to the fatty phase. Homogenize for 1-2 minutes.
• Wait for cooling to 45 °C, mix again with a mini-mixer
• At a temperature of 40 °C, add active components that cannot be heated, mix manually for 30-60 minutes.
