With Olivem 1000 it is easy to prepare a very fine emulsion that allows you to obtain a softening, moisturising and silky cream. Olivem 1000 forms a lamellar emulsion (liquid crystals) that provides a long-lasting moisturising effect and a gradual spreading of assets. This emulsifier is quickly absorbed by the skin, ideal for normal, dry and baby skin.

Dosage: 0.5 - 5%

• 3-5% as a mono emulsifier
• from 0.5% as a co-emulsifier.

Use: in oil at a temperature of 65-75 C. The emulsifier is also soluble in the following substances: alcohol, ethyl acetate, glycerin, isopropyl alcohol, methyl alcohol, mineral oil, propylene glycol, hot water. The pH of the finished product is recommended to be 4.5 - 8.0.

Features of use: the emulsion is obtained by heating two phases, aqueous and oily. The emulsifier is heated in the fatty phase until it completely melts, at about 75 C the oil phase is added to the water phase and mixed with a mixer for 5 minutes, then homogenized at a moderate pace until completely cooled. Do not put the warm emulsion in the refrigerator or cold water, but continue stirring until completely cooled at room temperature. Rapid cooling can lead to emulsion stratification in the future.

Storage: in a dry, cool place, protect from direct sunlight.
