It can be used in both acidic and alkaline environments. Finally, it can be used in oral care products such as toothpastes, rinses.

In BEURRE shop you can buy original Euxyl PE 9010 and not its analogues with the same composition but with a different trade name. The originality of the preservative is confirmed by a quality certificate for each new delivery (see the Quality Certificate tab).

What a preservative consists of

In order to understand what this or that component consists of, you should pay attention to the ‘INCI’ value, which is always indicated in the product card. Preservative Euxyl PE 9010 consists of two substances: ethylhexylglycerin + phenoxyethanol.

Phenoxyethanol is a well-known widely used preservative and the addition of ethylhexylglycerin increases the effectiveness of phenoxyethanol. The innovative, multifunctional additive alters the surface tension of the microbial cell membrane, improving the preserving activity of phenoxythanol. This improved form is stable over wider pH ranges than commonly used combinations of other preservatives. Therefore, you can use Euxyl PE 9010 to preserve both acid facial toners and alkaline hand soaps.

Microbiological efficiency

Euxyl PE 9010 is equally effective against bacteria, yeasts and moulds. A minimum contact time of 48 hours is required for the preservative to effectively kill organisms in already contaminated products. The effectiveness of Euxyl PE 9010 has been tested against the following microorganisms according to the DGHM (German Society for Hygiene and Microbiology). The determination of the minimum inhibitory concentration in the serial dilution test gave the following values (Mica in % of product).

If you buy this preservative, you get these advantages

How to work with and incorporate Euxyl into cosmetics
