Preservative Potassium Sorbate 30 g

Potassium sorbate is the potassium salt of sorbic acid and is a white powder or granules, odourless, soluble in water.Potassium sorbate is well established as a substance that prevents or limits the growth of microbes in cosmetics. This preparation, which has antibacterial properties, is widely used in cosmetic industries. It prevents or inhibits the growth of bacteria and thus protects cosmetics from spoilage.

Dosage: 0,15 – 0,3%

Action: effective safe preservative, active against moulds, yeasts and aerophilic bacteria. Used in food and cosmetic industry.

Effectiveness: stable over a wide pH range of 2-6.5.
