Prodew 500 is a natural moisturising factor with a unique composition of amino acids, developed by Ajinomoto, a Japanese company that uses the most advanced technology to develop cosmetic ingredients. Characteristics of the component and features of use

INCI: Sodium PCA, Sodium Lactate, Arginine, Aspartic Acid, PCA, Glycine, Alanine, Serine, Valine, Proline, Threonine, Isoleucine, Histidine, Phenylalanine, Water.

Dosage: 0.5 - 5%, including 0.2 - 2% for non-washable products, and 0.5 - 5% for washable products. Usage: soluble in water at a temperature not exceeding 50 °C. It is not recommended to introduce into alkaline products because Na PCA is unstable in an alkaline environment. Addition to emulsions causes a decrease in viscosity, it is necessary to take this factor into account when formulating and testing formulations.

Storage: in a dark, dry place in tightly closed packaging at temperatures up to +25 °C.
Preservative: The preservative Euxyl PE 9010 (0.7%) has been added to ensure its safety after opening the original packaging.

Composition and cosmetic properties of Prodew 500

Prodew 500 elements Prodew 500 is a blend of amino acids developed as part of a new technology for skin and hair care. What is NMF Natural Moisturising Factor and what does it consist

of NMF is a natural moisturising substance that is formed in the stratum corneum of the human skin.

It plays an important role in keeping the skin moisturised and is composed mainly of amino acids (42%), PCA (12%), lactic acid (11%), urea (7%) and other components.

Na PCA

Pyrrolidone carboxylic Acid (PCA) is one of the components of Natural Moisturising Factor (NMF) and Na PCA is the sodium salt of L-pyrrolidone carboxylate, which is a natural moisturiser derived from sodium L-glutamate. When added to hair cosmetics, Na PCA has a moisturising, conditioning and hair colour preserving effect. And when added to skin cosmetics, Na PCA moisturises the skin, reduces the feeling of tightness, and is able to be absorbed into the skin and reduce the skin's natural loss of PCA.

Arginine

The presence of L-arginine in the formulation acts as an anchor for better skin absorption of PCA as well as acids. This information has been confirmed by testing, which has shown that skin absorption of PCA and acids is much worse when arginine is excluded from Prodew 500.

The use of Prodew 500 on the skin

Prodew 500 is only one of the moisture-retaining ingredients in the Prodew range, which when introduced into skin cosmetics is effective in increasing moisture levels, reducing dryness and flaking, increasing skin moisture absorption, and relieving general irritation, if present.
