Boron nitride is a powder of mineral origin, which significantly improves the quality of cosmetics: it gives it a creamy structure, improves adhesion, sliding and stability. Boron nitride is able to create the effect of the inner glow of the skin, the so-called focus effect, which hides small imperfections of the skin. The powder also has absorbent properties for every fat and is often an indispensable component in the manufacture of shadows, however, like any other mineral cosmetics.

Usage: not soluble in water or oil. The component is dispersed in the base, mixed with other dry components or added directly to the warm emulsion.

Storage: in a dark, dry place in a tightly closed package at a temperature not higher than +25 C. Protect from moisture and direct sunlight.

Application and cosmetic properties

Boron Nitride included in cosmetics provides a light scattering effect, thereby hiding skin irregularities, enlarged pores, visually hiding the "mesh" of fine wrinkles and making the face look younger. Boron Nitride RonaFlair Boroneige SF-9 has almost the maximum soft-focus effect among all functional ingredients of the German manufacturer Merck. You can see this gradation in the graph below, where boron nitride occupies one of the leading places, while RonaFlair Extender W, RonaFlair Flawless and Balance series pigments available in the store are located behind it.

The component is able to absorb sebum with a high absorption capacity. Depending on the particle size, Boron Nitride can have different oil absorption and hiding power. Thus, the boron nitride presented in the Beurre store under the trade name RonaFlair Boroneige SF-9 has a high oil absorption and at the same time an average level of hiding power, while the same component with a particle size of 6.0 - 12.0 μm will have a high level of hiding power, but at the same time a slightly reduced oil absorption. In the graph below, you can see that RonaFlair Boroneige SF-9 occupies a leading position and is second only to RonaFlair Extender W, which contains titanium dioxide, in its composition in fat absorption. Boron nitride also provides excellent adhesive and sliding properties. This powder is a chic functional filler that improves the quality and texture of the final product, and along with this component, it has a fairly high level of hiding power.
