Rose wax in cosmetics

Floral wax is a by-product of the production of absolutes. The concreta from which the absolute is extracted is made up of plant waxes that remain after the absolute has been extracted.

Other names: Rose Flowers Essential Wax 

Appearance: A brown solid mass with a pleasant floral rose aroma.

Ingredients: contains carotenoids, vitamin E, phospholipids.

To dissolve the wax, it is added to the oil and heated in a water bath along with the fatty phase of the cream until melted. 

Storage method: in a cool, dry place, keep away from light.

Properties:

Possesses structure-forming properties similar to beeswax. Demonstrates a slight bactericidal and anti-inflammatory effect. It is used in lipsticks and other decorative products.
