Characteristics of the ingredient and specifics of use

INCI: Dipalmitoyl Hydroxyproline

Appearance: white to yellow fine to coarse powder (appearance of each batch may vary)

Dosage: 0.5-2%. Usually 0.5-1% (facial products) and 0.5% (prophylactic body products).

Solubility: in oil at 80°C. The manufacturer's recommended methods of dissolving Sepilift DPHP are:

1. Add Sepilift DPHP to the oil phase before the emulsification step and heat it to 80°C. Then proceed with emulsification.
2. Add Sepilift DPHP to octyldodecanol, heat it in a water bath at 80°C and stir until Sepilift DPHP is well dissolved. Then add the other oils and lipophilic phases to the mixture. Stir the system for 10 min or until homogeneous.

Storage: long-term storage is recommended in a dark place at a temperature not exceeding 25°C, protect from direct sunlight. Temporary transport at different temperature is allowed.
