Shea butter is a thick oil with a light creamy color, consisting mainly of triglycerides (up to 80%) and unsaponifiable fats (up to 17%)

The unsaponifiable fats that make up the oil exhibit regenerating properties and actively stimulate collagen synthesis. In addition, they have excellent sun protection properties and are natural UV filters. These properties allow using karite oil as an active component in programs for sensitive and damaged skin, in regenerating and anti-age programs and preparations. Also, triglycerides included in the composition of karite oil affect the barrier properties of the skin

Karite oil for fading skin

As a self-applied preparation, karite oil is used for massage in anti-aging programs. Regular use of karite oil improves complexion, thickens skin texture, improves tone and elasticity, helps to reduce the depth of wrinkles. There is a pronounced regenerating effect, possibly related to the action of unsaponifiable fats, which activate the synthesis of collagen. Karite oil is also included in active creams for age skin care.

Skin protection and regeneration

Karite oil is widely used to eliminate flakiness and “tightness” of the skin, eliminate the effects of burns, reduce scars and scars. As early as 1940, many scientific observations have confirmed that people who use shea butter suffer almost no skin diseases, and their skin is amazingly smooth and supple.

Moisturizing

When karite oil is applied to the skin, the moisturizing effect reaches its maximum after 1 h and lasts for about 8 h. The oil moisturizes the upper layers of the epidermis, stimulates regeneration processes and protects the skin from the external negative impact of environmental factors.
