Soap base Crystal Suspending 0,5 kg

Crystal Suspending soap base is a soap base from the “Melt & Pour” (“MELT&POUR”) series, made from natural vegetable raw materials. Suspending base is used for the production of translucent bars of soap with the addition of various non-soluble fine particles (suspensions), as well as for the production of soap with swirls.

Features of the swirl base:

• the base is able to hold the insoluble particles in suspension*
• made from vegetable raw materials
• good foaming
• thanks to its very high glycerin content, it moisturizes perfectly and creates a pleasant sensation on the skin
• has a neutral base scent and provides excellent aromatization with essential oils

*The saturation of the final suspension depends on the size and weight of the particles used in the preparation of the soap. It is recommended to experiment with different substances and additives to achieve the effect you want.

Note: Due to the viscous nature of this soap base, Crystal Suspending holds more air than its counterparts. This may affect the transparency of the final product.

To make handmade soap at home, just follow the instructions:

• cut the base into small pieces
• Melt the base on a water bath or in the microwave, without bringing to a boil, and preferably under a lid. 
• add your favorite base and essential oil, colored micas, scrubbing particles, dried flowers, dyes
• pour the soap into the mold. 
• Let the soap cool for about 30 minutes
• If you want to package the soap and give it as a gift, wait 1 day before packaging and let the soap dry.
   

Per 100 grams of soap base you can add:

• up to 30 drops of essential oil or a blend of oils 
• 1/5-1 teaspoon of vegetable oil (e.g. almond, jojoba) or a mixture of oils 
• 10-20 drops of soap fragrance (fragrance input varies by manufacturer. See the label of your fragrance)
• 1/3 teaspoon of pigment or pearlescent micas 
• 1-3 teaspoons red, white or green clay 
• 2-4 teaspoons ground oatmeal 
• 1-3 teaspoons of honey, dead sea salt, ayurvedic herbs and more.
