Syn-Hycan is a powerful signaling tripeptide stimulant that can reshape facial contours, tighten skin and reduce wrinkles. It triggers the skin's own hyaluronic acid production process and promotes proper collagen synthesis. After use, the skin becomes smoother and firmer, sagging areas are tightened, and wrinkles are smoothed. The effect of the cosmetic peptide Shin-hiken peptide is comparable in effect to injections of hyaluronic acid and other fillers, so the skin becomes much denser after its use as part of cosmetic products.

Characteristics of the component and peculiarities of use

INCI: glycerin, aqua, tetradecylaminobutyroylvalylaminobutyric urea trifluoroacetate, magnesium chloride.

Dosage: up to 2.5%.

Application: soluble in water. Recommended for use in the active phase of the cosmetic product at a temperature not exceeding 40°C. Withstands heating up to 80°C for 2 hours. Can be combined with alcohol. The recommended pH of the finished formula is between 3.0 and 5.5.

Preservative: Ethylhexyl glycerin, phenoxyethanol.

Storage: Long-term storage is recommended at temperatures between 2 and 8°C. Temporary transport at other temperatures is allowed and does not affect the quality of the product. Do not freeze.

How Syn-Hycan Peptide works in cosmetics

Syn-Hycan Peptide promotes the production of hyaluronic acid at the cellular level. This tripeptide increases the expression of CD44 receptor, which is the main anchor of hyaluronic acid. As a result, its production is increased 3-fold.

Hyaluronic acid is an extremely important component of the skin. It can bind an amount of water that is a thousand times the weight of the hyaluronic acid molecule. The result is a kind of jelly that provides mechanical cushioning, retains moisture, facilitates intercellular metabolism and acts as a structural basis for proteins. It increases the expression of decorin and lumican, substances responsible for the synthesis of proper collagen fibers. Decorins control the proper assembly of collagen fibers from protofibrils. And lumican is necessary for collagen synthesis and proper fibrillogenesis (formation of collagen fibers by assembling thinner protein fibers into spirals). Thus, we can say that Shin-Hiken Tripetide directly affects collagen synthesis, which is very important for maintaining healthy, youthful skin and, most importantly, for achieving a lifting effect and proper facial contour.  

Thanks to its ability to influence collagen synthesis, Syn-Hykan is able to improve the condition of skin with stretch marks and prevent their appearance.
