Woresana is a ready-to-use exfoliant and an antimicrobial active ingredient for cosmetics.

Nature has long since created the best for our beauty and health. The natural component Woresana concentrate is a unique German development from fermented rye flour, which is an explosive "cocktail" of bio-available active ingredients that effectively normalize the skin condition. In its pure form, Woresana is used as a mild exfoliant for the skin, and as a cosmetic ingredient, Woresana is effective against acne and pimples, as an antimicrobial agent, for skin hydration, and as an anti-acne additive.

This ingredient is not expected to be available for sale. It can be replaced with a new product - the oat-based postbiotic AVENOFERM.

Characteristics of the component and specifics of use

INCI: water, lactobacillus, rye flour, ferment. 

Appearance: is a liquid of light brown to brown color with possible spots of dry matter. In the bottle is allowed stratification, it is recommended to shake before use.

Component pH: 3.3 - 4.3 (varies from batch to batch).

Dosage: 0.5 - 100 %

Solubility: Dissolve in water at a temperature not exceeding 40˚C.

Storage: in a dry, dark, cool place in a tightly closed container at a temperature of 10-35˚C. Keep out of direct sunlight.

Origin of the component

The idea behind the production of Woresana is based on traditional long-term fermentation methods of lactic acid bacteria to produce organic ingredients that have many benefits for cosmetic applications. In this case, the Beurre store offers the ingredient Woresana Rye conc. whose raw material is rye. Whole rye flour contains up to 8-13% protein, 2-3% lipids, 2% ash and 15-21% total fiber. In addition, the outer layer of the endosperm, the aleurone layer, is rich in minerals and vitamins, especially B vitamins. Rye contains phytochemicals with antioxidant properties that influence our health, such as lignans, phenolic acids, phytosterols, alkylresorcinols, benzoxazinoids.

Cosmetic properties 

Before going into a detailed description of the cosmetic properties of the ingredient, we would like to mention that Woresana is prebiotic, probiotic and postbiotic.

Biotics are products or metabolic by-products secreted by living bacteria during fermentation or released after bacterial lysis (lysis). Biotics have anti-inflammatory, immunomodulatory, anti-proliferative and antioxidant effects.

All the benefits of Woresana are based solely on the source of the raw material (rye), complemented by a modern and technologically advanced production method. The skin benefits are based on the following characteristics 

• The molecule of the component has a low molecular weight, which improves its ability to penetrate into the deeper layers of the epidermis to act effectively on the skin.
• strong moisturising action due to the high number of amino acids in the NUF composition (6 out of 8)
• Contains lactic, malic and acetic acids, which moisturise and exfoliate the skin.
• has a rich composition in which you can distinguish polysaccharides, pantothenic acid (vitamin B5), nicotinamide, vitamins B1 and B2, folic acid, biotin, minerals and others.
• Woresana also contains 6-8% pentosans (only 2-3% in wheat). 

As mentioned above, Woresana Rye Concentrate provides the skin with 6 of the 8 essential amino acids in free form, which is essential for the metabolic activity of the living epidermis. Free amino acids are also the most important water-soluble component of NUF. High concentrations of pantothenic acid (vitamin B5) and nicotinamide (vitamin B3) are also very important as anti-inflammatory and regenerative components.

Adding even a low concentration of Woresana Rye Conc. to natural cosmetics can provide significant antimicrobial activity. This is due to its fermentation by metabolites. Woresana is therefore an indispensable active ingredient for combating acne, normalising oily and problem skin, in antimicrobial foot creams and in shampoos for problem hair and dandruff. 

Equally interesting for cosmetics are well-known components such as lactic acid, folic acid or beta-glucans. The products in the range contain pentosans, which are characteristic compounds in the composition of rye and have emollient, anti-inflammatory and protective properties. These pentosans are capable of binding 23 grams of water per gram.  

Woresana as a natural skin scrub

This active ingredient can be used in its pure form as a year-round exfoliant. There is no limit to the level of sun exposure and it can be used even in summer. But remember that any exfoliation is a violation of the integrity of the skin's protective barrier, so the use of sunscreen after exfoliation is highly recommended!

Peeling should be applied as follows: cleanse the skin with a neutral pH - apply Woresana conc. peeling. - Leave on for 15 minutes - rinse with water at room temperature - apply a neutral skin care cream. Peelings should be carried out from once every two days to once a week for 3-6 weeks, depending on the problem and the desired result.
