Origin and properties of Amitose DGA in cosmetics
Amitose DGA, is a new moisturising derivative of vitamin C that does not contain preservatives. It is obtained by binding vitamin C (ascorbic acid) to glycerin using original Japanese technology from Seiwa. In addition to its excellent moisturising effect on the skin and its inhibitory effect on melanin production, DGA increases collagen production and has an intracellular antioxidant effect. It can be added to skin toners, clear gel serums and creams, allowing it to be used in a wide range of formulas.
Cosmetic effects of stable vitamin C on the skin
- evens skin tone and makes it fresh
- inhibits melanin production (brightening effect)
- moisturises the skin
- restores the skin's
- protective barrier
- fights wrinkles
- prevents the appearance of scars from post-acne marks
- suppresses inflammation
- increases collagen production and thus improves skin elasticity.
Vitamin Amitosis DHA gives quality work already at 2% of input. Numerous research results prove its effectiveness in all of the above properties.
Deep skin moisturising: mechanism of action
Everyone has long known that the level of skin hydration depends not on the amount of moisturising cream, but on the state of the skin's protective layer. If the barrier function is broken - you feel dryness, tightness of the skin and fine wrinkles appear. We wrote a detailed article about Moisturising ingredients and how to choose them. You can read it here. Now let's get back to Vitamin Ts and its working technology.

Amitose DGA does not attract moisture from the environment and does not pull it from the inner layers of the skin. Its action is to influence the maturation process of corneocytes. As a result, the protective barrier is restored and the skin's moisture level is increased.

Increase in collagen production

Inhibition of melanin production

Stability of vitamin C
Modern technology makes it possible to obtain effective and stable forms of active ingredients for the manufacture of natural cosmetics. Above, in the description of the component's characteristics, we indicated that the mandatory storage condition for Amitosis DHA is low temperature. Now we give you a visual example of the influence of storage conditions on the appearance of the component and its activity.
As you can see, short-term transport and storage of the asset has no effect on its activity, but long-term storage is recommended at a temperature of about 5 C.
