During the preparation of natural candles at home, the selection of quality raw materials plays an important role. For making soy candles, or candles made of other vegetable waxes, natural wicks made of cotton threads are often used. However, for the production of unique handmade candles, ordinary wicks are replaced with wooden ones, they burn beautifully and give the candle a more expensive and aesthetic look.

To improve the burning of the wick it is recommended to pre-treat it with vegetable oil or melted wax.
