Base oils - skin care products for the body, face, neck, chest

Base oils (carrier oils, fatty oils, transport oils) can be used as an alternative to cream, as a makeup remover, as a base for various medicinal and cosmetic masks, as a basis for massage oils, aromatic bath oils, creams and balms and in soap making.Basic oils help restore impaired metabolic processes in the skin, maintain its elasticity and freshness, significantly slow down the aging process, nourish and moisturize the skin, saturating it with vitamins and unsaturated fatty acids, and normalize skin microcirculation.

Refined and unrefined: 2 types of oils

1. Unrefined oils, i.e. oils that have undergone only first mechanical filtration. They are also called virgin oils or virgin oils. Such oils have a characteristic odor, a richer color and a higher content of nutrients.
2. Refined oils, i.e.having passed several stages of mechanical and physical purification, as a result of which the oil is neutralized in taste, smell and clarified.However, refined oil does not mean “empty” oil.The content of vitamins, healthy fats and acids in refined oils changes slightly, and the beneficial effects on the skin are fully preserved.Oil refining allows you to reduce the total amount of substances that lead to rapid oxidation and significantly reduce the shelf life of the oil. That is why only refined oils are used in industrial cosmetic preparations.
