NATURAL FRANKINCENSE ESSENTIAL OIL

Frankincense essential oil is produced from trees of the extensive genus Boswellia, family Burserae. In total there are about 30 Boswellia, as sources for aromatic resin, most often, the following varieties (depending on the area of growth):

India - Boswellia serrata 

Somalia - Boswellia frereana

Arabia - Boswellia Sacra

China and East Africa - Boswellia carteri.

The difference in growing conditions and climate creates truly unique olfactory variations in essential oils.

In our assortment we present Indian essential oil of frankincense - Boswellia serrata - characterized by a high content of natural terpenes (in particular, Alpha thujene). This determines its leading characteristics and beneficial effects on the body.


Characteristics of natural frankincense oil

Botanical name: Boswellia serrata 

Aroma: woody-camphoric, sensual-balsamic, warm odor of freshly sawn pine wood with notes of citrus.

Due to the high content of α-thujene, this oil has a “sharp” refreshing aroma. 

Synonyms: Indian frankincense, Indian olibanum, frankincense essential oil, boswellia serrata essential oil, Olibanum serrata, huile essentielle d'encens serrata. ), Ätherisches Weihrauch-Serrata-Öl(German), frankincense serrata essential oil(English), Olibanum serratum essentiale oleum(Latin), Olibanum indicum(Latin), shallaki, boswellia serrata.

Essential oils are natural concentrated products that are not recommended to be applied in pure form to the skin or hair.
