Hilurlip - a patented peptide for lip care

The Spanish company Lipotec, one of the leaders in the production of peptides, has developed a unique lip shape correction active without injections or surgery. Hilurlip has a long-term effect of lip enlargement, gives them a spectacular "plumpness" and juiciness. The peptide contains two active substances - sodium hyaluronate and GHK tripeptide, which have a visible external effect.

INCI: ISOHEXADECANE, ETHYLENE/PROPYLENE/STYRENE COPOLYMER, BUTYLENE/ETHYLENE/STYRENE COPOLYMER, SODIUM HYALURONATE, XANTHAN GUM, PHENOXYETHANOL, TRIPEPTIDE-1, PENTAERYTHRITYL TETRA-DI-T-BUTYL HYDROXYHYDROCINNAMATE

Active ingredient content: 1% Sodium Hyaluronate, 0.05% Tripeptide-1 Dosage: 1 - 3 %

Use: added to the oil phase at the end of the preparation, do not heat above 60°C.

Storage: should be stored in a clean, cool and dark place. Long-term storage is recommended at a temperature of +2 to 8 C. Temporary transport at other temperatures is allowed and does not affect the quality of the product. Do not freeze.

Features of lip skin care with Hilurlip

The lip skin needs special care. It has no keratinised protective stratum corneum layer, so moisture evaporates from the lip skin faster, microcracks, flakiness and wrinkles appear. The only way to keep the lip skin healthy is occlusion (it is usually provided by lip balms) and powerful moisturising, which Hilurlip can provide due to the presence of sodium hyaluronate in its composition. In addition, the asset promotes independent synthesis of hyaluronic acid in the body. 

This asset uses a special technology for the transport of sodium hyaluronate. That is, the manufacturer took care that the peptide penetrates deep into the skin of the lips and showed a noticeable effect. The constituent particles of the asset are specially reduced and homogenised, they easily penetrate through the thin layer of the lip skin, then swell, saturating the lips with moisture, smoothing and filling fine lines. Sodium hyaluronate particles have a rejuvenating and smoothing effect on the lips. 

Tripeptide GHK - protects lips from free radicals and solar activity, besides, it is able to inhibit the glycation process, and this makes it possible to preserve the elasticity of collagen fibres and protect lip skin from photo-aging.

According to in-vivo studies Hilurlip enlarges the lips by about 18% and moisturises them by 80%, with a soothing effect. But you have to keep in mind, if you have thin lips, you are unlikely to enlarge them to the size of A. Jolie's lips with Hilurlip alone. Let's be realistic.

Hilurlip increases lip volume by 18% (volunteer trial). A group of 10 female subjects, aged 18 to 70 years. A cosmetic product containing 2% Hilurlip was applied twice a day to the lips of the first group of subjects, while a placebo gel was applied to the lips of the second group of subjects. The duration of the experiment was 30 days. 

Result 

The moisturising and emollient effects were qualitatively evaluated on the volunteers. Hilurlip showed moisturising and emollient effects in 80%. Applying 2% Hilurlip on the lips increased their volume by 18% and showed an immediate and long-lasting thickening effect. Hilurlip increases the moisture level of the lip skin, protects against sun exposure, and prevents premature lip aging. These results are enough to decide to prepare a lip care product with peptide.
