GlucoTain liquiFlex is a multifunctional surfactant mixture that combines conditioning and thickening effects. It allows the creation of cost-effective formulations with excellent foaming properties and an elegant superfatting effect. GlucoTain liquiFlex shows good cleansing properties for hair and skin care and is used in formulations from shower and bath, liquid hand soap to facial cleansers, as well as shaving, soap and detergents.

INCI: Lauroyl /Myristoyl Methyl Glucamide, Coco-Betaine

Appearance: liquid

pH of the component (10% solution in water): 8.5 – 9.5

Type: mixture of nonionic and amphoteric surfactants

Basic substance: 33.0 - 38.0%

Sodium chloride (NaCl): 3.7-4.5%

Dosage: 1 - 20%. The recommended level of use is from 1% to 20% (approximately from 0.35 to 7% of the active substance). At an active level of 2% (approximately 0.7% GlucoTain liquiFlex), a distinct sensory effect on the skin is observed. Solubility: in water

Storage: The shelf life is at least two years when stored in a tightly closed container at room temperature in a clean and ventilated place. After this period, the product should be analyzed for an extension of the shelf life.

GlucoTain liquiFlex application in cosmetics

GlucoTain liquiFlex is a mixture of non-ionic and amphoteric surfactants, which provides an easy way to create foaming cleansers. To develop a balanced formula, you only need to add an anionic surfactant. GlucoTain Liquiflex provides high foam, easy combing of hair, conditioning of hair and skin, and leaves behind a nourishing feeling. It is suitable for shower gels, shampoos, sulfate-free products and hand wash products.

GlucoTain liquiFlex also provides color protection during hair washing. Compared to the SLES/cocamidopropyl betaine system, SLES+ GlucoTain Flex removes less dye from hair samples.

The hair shine of the colored samples was measured separately before and after washing (10 times). While the SLES/cocamidopropyl betaine system leads to a loss of hair shine by almost 20%, SLES/GlucoTain Flex maintains a shiny shine longer.
