Cotton wick, natural 3 mm, length 5 m

100% cotton wick – free of synthetics, chemicals, and an aluminum core. Safe for health and ideal for eco-friendly styles.

Advantages of cotton wicks:

• no smoking, cracking, or "sinking" in wax thanks to the tight braided weave
• no distortion of the aroma
• burns self-cleaning, without soot formation
• ideal for soy, beeswax, coconut, palm, and paraffin waxes

Before use, the cotton wick should be soaked in a wax mixture. The optimal ratio is stearic acid:soy wax in a 2:3 ratio.
The wick thickens, easily absorbs various types of wax during combustion, and does not choke. Visually, it is a pure white.

For proper combustion, monitor the wick size by regularly trimming it to 5 mm. To ensure safe burning and wick retention in container and loose leaf candles, be sure to use a wick holder and stickers to fix the wick.

We have tested a 3 mm wick and recommend using it for making candles from all types of wax, with a diameter of 70 mm or more.

This wick will ensure even combustion of dense waxes (beeswax and palm wax), as well as candles with a high concentration of essential oils.

Convenient to use in the Wood 200 candle jar series. The wax burns completely without forming a tunnel.

It produces a high, bright flame, allowing for more light.

Suitable for both column and loose leaf candles.

We strongly recommend testing the optimal wick size on each candle mold!
