Why do you need eyebrows and eyelashes

Eyebrows and eyelashes consist of bristly hairs. They are denser than vellus and long hair. Like any other hair, eyelashes and eyebrows consist of a root and a shaft. There is no magic remedy that will double the thickness and density of eyelashes after a week of use.

Eyebrow and eyelash care at home

Know that eyebrows and eyelashes need to be cleaned. This step cannot be skipped. Residues of mascara, eyeshadow, eyebrow pencil can clog hair follicles, accumulate on the growth line, because of this, blood circulation near the follicles decreases, inflammation can develop. Carefully remove makeup from eyelashes, for this, micellar water or milk for removing makeup with Japanese surfactant Amisoft are suitable.

Your usual foam for washing is suitable for eyebrows. A light massage will not harm the eyebrows either, it can be done with a soft toothbrush, with delicate circular movements, massage the eyebrows in the direction of hair growth. This will help improve blood circulation near the hair follicles.

And, of course, if you want to grow thick eyebrows, you need to use a serum for eyelash and eyebrow growth with peptides, active ingredients and vitamins. Regular use for at least a month is important here.

Eyebrow and eyelash growth products

A serum for eyebrow and eyelash growth is very easy to make. It is usually prepared in a very small volume of 5-10 ml. A mascara tube with a brush is ideal for using such a cosmetic product; you can buy a black and transparent one in the Beurre store. Active ingredients for eyelash and eyebrow growth

A component that can be used in cosmetics even in a mono-variant is Widelash. This is a complex active based on peptides and provitamin B5. Widelash promotes the active growth of hair follicle keratinocytes and fixation of the hair. In addition, it strengthens the eyelashes and eyebrows, prevents their loss. It is enough to add 2% of this active to water, add a gelling agent, preserve and your serum is ready.

There are other equally effective ingredients for eyelash and eyebrow growth.

Follicusan is a complex anti-hair loss active that works well in tandem with Procapil. Follicusan is able to awaken the activity of dormant hair follicles, which is very important in the situation with eyebrows, which may have been frequently plucked. Follicusan is used in all types of anti-hair loss products, as well as in cosmetics for eyelash and eyebrow growth.

Procapil is a peptide that works great in hair care products and prevents hair follicle aging, fights hair loss, improves blood circulation in the skin near the eyelashes and eyebrows. Products with Procapil do not need to be washed off, since this active ingredient works better when accumulated. We also found this peptide in products to enhance eyebrow growth.

You can use one of these components, or you can combine them. The main thing to remember is that Widelash and Procapil include the same peptide, so there is no point in combining them in one product. But their combination with Follicusan will be effective, because the components have different mechanisms of influence on the hair follicle and will complement each other's effectiveness.

Other components that are added to eyelash and eyebrow growth products

In addition to the main active ingredients that promote eyebrow and eyelash growth, there are auxiliary ingredients. Among the base oils that are most often used for eyebrow and eyelash growth are castor oil and osma seed oil, but you should not neglect avocado, almond, apricot, peach and plum kernel oils. Such a mixture can be supplemented with bay essential oil, which is known for its properties to stop hair loss.

But be careful, essential oils work well on the scalp and eyebrows, but it is better to refuse to use them in eyelash products.

Vitamins such as E and F also contribute to the growth of eyebrows and eyelashes, they are readily used in their framework recipes by cosmetic manufacturers. Niacinamide, D-panthenol and vitamin A can also be found in the compositions.

Any extracts that promote hair growth - CO2 extracts of green tea, aloe vera, Asian centella, nettle, burdock, hops - can also be used as auxiliary actives in serums for eyelash and eyebrow growth.
